The Operator
Most resumes ask to be believed. This page does not. Almost everything on it can be checked by the person reading it, because almost all of it happened in public, on a ledger that does not forget.
I have spent years inside Ethereum: governance, public goods, partnerships, and the unglamorous business of helping ecosystems coordinate, the part that does not trend and the part the rest depends on. I started building a public on-chain record in 2018, deliberately, because I believed a day would come when the most useful thing I could hand someone was not a claim about my judgment but a history they could verify without asking me.
None of this replaced anything. The operator work, the modeling, and the writing have run at the same time, all of it at a high level, because they were never separate work. It was always the same thing: reading people and situations, earning trust where there is no shared language, and helping people make something together. One person, doing one kind of work, the whole time.
This is the record.
The record
The full record is available on request. What follows is the part worth checking without asking me.
Ecosystem and partnerships
Core contributor, partnerships and ecosystem. I build the partner and ecosystem layer for ETHis, an Ethereum Community Conference held at the Deutsches Museum in Munich, July 2 and 3, 2026: partner narratives, outreach, sponsorship across five tiers, and speaker and community coordination, across tracks from real-world assets and decentralized identity to stablecoins, governance, and Ethereum adoption in the real economy.
Executive Director of Strategic Development. ReFi and green tech. The connective layer between founders, investors, ecosystem partners, and sustainability-focused companies: partnership strategy, governance design, stakeholder mapping, and Web2-to-Web3 positioning for early teams.
Translation between worlds
The work that keeps recurring: standing between people who do not share a language (technical, institutional, or creative) and making each side legible to the other.
Strategic development consultant, Ethereum public goods. I opened doors with university endowment boards and translated between Ethereum-native public-goods funding and institutional due-diligence standards. The useful work was naming the friction precisely: DeFi custody and security set against institutional risk standards. This was door-opening and translation, not deal-closing, and the relationships are still active.
Creative director. Translating vision into words and words back into visuals, with high-level clients, across brand films, television, and websites, for jewelry, hotels, and fashion, sometimes leading, sometimes supporting other agencies. It is the same translation an ecosystem needs between its builders and the institutions it wants to reach.
Provenance, from the start
One line of thinking runs from before the on-chain work to the page you are reading now. In 2018, Dropclub put an artist's physical work on-chain: the first drops were Pete Rey, minted and sold through OpenSea, before the real-world-asset framing existed. That work fed into the CircularID product passports for sustainable fashion, which I then wrote about in the sustainable-fashion essays. The same idea, that a record should outlive the platform it was made on, is what this whole site is built to do. The Dropclub site is gone now. The record on-chain is not.
Communities and teams
Texas-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Identifies and advises partner charities and public goods programs on funding opportunities across web3: Nouns DAO (prop 960), Octant.app funding rounds, Gitcoin funding rounds, Giveth, and Artizen. Has helped raise over $250,000 USD for partner projects to date.
On-chain membership and community, and the public home of the operator identity now merged into this one.
ReFi media, Gitcoin participation, founder amplification, and community tooling. Produced official Gitcoin educational material. Ran Growpolic.eth, a direct fundraising operation for Gitcoin grantees. No longer part of the DAO, this work is documented on the Let's Grow DAO YouTube channel.
Mentor.
Ambassador and advisor role.
All of this has run alongside a thirty-year international career in fashion, modeling, writing, and brand across more than ninety countries, the whole time, not before it. That work is at Model & Actor.
French and German spoken and read, both well ahead of conversational Spanish and Italian, which come from years working in Spain and Italy. The languages are not decoration. "Rooms that do not share a language" is sometimes the literal job.
Where I am useful
Three things have to be true for me to take on work, and they are the same three things whether the work is a role, a board, or an engagement.
- Demonstrably a net positive for humanity.
- Moving toward decentralization and democratization, toward more human trust and more human freedom, not less.
- Holding a long-term vision: real scaffolding, not a quick fix dressed up as a strategy (though a quick fix used as one deliberate module toward the long vision is a different and welcome thing).
Those are not values I am looking to have admired. They are the areas where I think I can actually help build.

Identity
Everything here, and everything I write, is signed by DVSlewis.eth. One identity, one name to check against.
The name is the anchor, not any single key. My on-chain record reaches back across earlier addresses, including the one that holds the public-goods history, and those are me too. When the signing key changes, the change is itself signed: a dated statement from the prior address naming the next one as canonical. So the identity can rotate keys over time without breaking the chain, and anyone can follow it from DVSlewis.eth back through every address that has been mine.
To check that something attributed to me is genuinely mine, start atDVSlewis.ethand follow the signed continuity statements from there.
Talk to me about a role
Role inquiries route through a vetting step: a legitimacy gate, then a score against the three filters above, then a qualified inquiry passed to me. Nothing is auto-handled.
